Digital Dandy was founded in 2014 by Irish ex-pat Jen Murnaghan. With nearly 20 years in marketing and creative production, beginning in Dublin, and moving to London, Sydney and now Hobart, Jen established her digital marketing agency to support local businesses who are looking to augment their voice online.

From the European Commission in Dublin to the Sydney Olympic Games, Jen has gleaned a wealth of knowledge working alongside media outlets, graphic designers, printmakers and editorial teams to deliver a range of services to her clients, from digital coaching to strategic marketing and social media management.

I believe in the power of storytelling and I love to find practical ways to achieve our goals while keeping the balance between screen time and real time.
— Jen Murnaghan

Since moving to Tasmania from Sydney in 2009, Jen has been a bookseller at Hobart's Fullers Bookshop, staff writer for Australian children's blog Kidstylefile, marketing consultant at Babes in Arms and was co-curator for Mona’s MoMa market for six years. She also ran her own tea towel design business, Dish Pig.

Now her focus is digitally focussed. As well as consulting and managing social media campaigns, Jen is a coach for the Department of State Growth’s Digital Ready program, presents workshops for government departments like Brand Tasmania and the Department of Health and is a regular contributor to ABC Hobart radio.

Digital Dandy is genuinely passionate about the importance of genuine communication and works with a range of businesses which include arts organisations, festivals and events, NFP’s and values-based businesses, such as Festival of Voices, Archipelago Productions, Beaker Street Festival, agriCULTURED and Stornoway.
